There's something so nostalgic and childlike about unwrapping a cupcake. And that's what people both love and hate about wedding cupcakes – are they fun and familiar or too casual and unsophisticated?

If you're having a formal wedding, you may want to stick with a grand and formal wedding cake. If your wedding guests are traditional people, they might think cupcakes are too casual, or worse, cheap.

But if you're having a relaxed reception where fun is the primary goal, tell everyone to be a kid again and grab a cupcake. Once they're up and having fun on the dance floor, they won't have to sit again for dessert. They'll just grab a cupcake and keep on groovin'.

We have found a way for Brides and Grooms to have their cake and eat it too: get a small 6" cake to sit on the top of your cupcake tower. You can use this for the ceremonial cake cutting, and then freeze the rest for your 1-year anniversary.

I used Chef Eric for my wedding as well as our rehearsal dinner and I can not say enough good things about my experience with them. I worked with Chef from the very beginning on my wedding planning process and I am so happy I had him as our caterer. Eric loves what he does and it shows. He is passionate and bent over backwards to help me with anything I needed. I am so happy with how our wedding went, the food was excellent and I still have people telling me how delicious everything was. We chose to have a blend of Italian foods (for my heritage) and New England foods (for the location of the wedding) and I was so happy how the combinations of the two types of food were incorporated into our appetizers and entrees.  We were so surprised when our trolley pulled up to see banners on each side with pictures of us and our names and wedding date. This was something Eric and his team did for us as a surprise-and it was such a good one! I am so happy with everything and I hope to go to weddings in the future who used Chef, so I can eat the delicious food! Thank you for making my wedding such a success.

Your home is the perfect place to host a small intimate gathering or a large formal affair.  Whether you are planning a wedding,  bridal shower, a private dinner party or your club’s next meeting, “Chef Eric Gaffin” will take care of all the details to make your event a resounding success.  This is your chance to showcase the love and devotion you have put into your home. My team and I will compliment your style and help actualize your vision.

The first step is the Party Assessment which can take place over the phone or at your home.  During this time we will discuss specific event details-- including the catered party theme, style of service, dietary restrictions, and begin to develop the menu for your function. 

#ChefGaffin will create a unique and distinctive menu for you based on the season, style and budget of your event.  You will not be limited to options from a standard menu, but Chef Eric will tailor one just for your function.  He has a wealth of fresh and innovative ideas to help guide and bring forth your vision.

Next we finalize-- the details of the menu, how many staff are needed for the event, and any other specific details required to make your party a great success.

Once the menu is in production, we will coordinate with any additional vendors - florists, photographers, etc. - to make sure everyone is of one purpose and design.  We will arrange for any extra equipment needed from tables and chairs to china and glassware.  With supplementary options like printed menus, we can make your affair as elaborate as desired. 

The day of your event our team will do all the set-up, making sure every detail is perfect.  During the event, we will provide professional and attentive service to keep the party flowing smoothly. Chef will be on site to synchronize the food service and respond to any ongoing considerations. After the party or dinner, we will break everything down and leave your home impeccably clean.
